Pimpri : In a startling incident near Chinchwad railway station chowk, a tree fell on a moving PMPML bus, leaving seven passengers with minor injuries. The bus was heading towards Akurdi at the time of the accident.
Senior Police Inspector Ashok Kadlag of Pimpri Police Station stated, “A tree has fallen near Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk, causing a traffic jam in the area. Efforts are underway to remove the tree and restore smooth traffic flow. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.”
Meanwhile, a team from the fire brigade rushed to the spot and is working on a war footing to clear the fallen tree and ensure public safety.
