Pune: In a shocking incident, a woman has been arrested along with another accomplice for allegedly abetting her husband’s suicide and attempting to destroy evidence by disposing of the body in a remote location.
The deceased has been identified as Tayyubsha Usmansha, a resident of Jagatapnagar in Thergaon. The incident came to light after his son, Tosif Tayyubsha, filed a complaint at the Kalewadi Police Station on Thursday (19th June).
According to police officials, Tayyubsha died by suicide by hanging himself at around 9:30 p.m. on 14th June. His wife, aged 32, is accused of instigating him to take this extreme step. In a bid to destroy evidence, she allegedly directed Sahil Kailas Ghadge (age 21) to dispose of the body. Ghadge, accompanied by a minor, took the deceased’s body and dumped it in the Darumbre area of Maval taluka.
The police have arrested both the wife and Sahil Ghadge, and a case has also been registered against the minor involved. Kalewadi Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
