Pimpri Chinchwad: A youth sustained serious head injuries after an individual smashed an alcohol bottle on him following a dispute over opening a school gate. The incident occurred on Sunday, February 16, around 11 PM at Kamla Nehru School in Pimpri.
The injured youth, identified as Raviraj Anandaraj Jamjagli (28, resident of Pimpri), has lodged a complaint at Pimpri Police Station. Based on his statement, a case has been registered against the accused, identified as Nelson (full name and address unknown).
According to police reports, Raviraj had visited Kamla Nehru School to meet his friend, Gorakh Walunj, who works as a security guard there. After their meeting, as Raviraj was leaving, Nelson stopped him at the school gate and demanded that he open it. Raviraj clarified that he was not on duty and that another security guard was responsible for the gate. Enraged by this response, Nelson struck Raviraj on the head with an alcohol bottle, causing severe injuries.
