Pimpri Chinchwad: A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a truck at Central Chowk in Dehu Road on Wednesday, February 26. The accident occurred around 9 am when the rider, identified as Milind Khandu Kachare, was heading towards Pimpri-Chinchwad along the Bangalore-Mumbai road. As he attempted to take a turn at Central Chowk, a speeding truck struck his two-wheeler, causing him to fall and sustain severe injuries.
Kachare, a 37-year-old resident of Mamurdi, suffered serious head, arm, and leg injuries due to the impact. He was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Following the incident, Kachare filed a complaint at the Dehu Road Police Station, seeking legal action against the truck driver.
The truck driver, identified as Sokin Ilias Khan (28), a resident of Haryana, has been named in the complaint. A case has been registered against Khan, and the Dehu Road Police are investigating the matter further.
