Pune: The Pune Traffic Police have introduced new traffic regulations to reduce congestion and enhance road safety in key areas of the city. The latest measures include the designation of no-parking zones and route modifications in Baner, Camp (Lashkar), and Deccan.
Baner Traffic Division
A no-parking zone has been implemented on both sides of an 800-meter stretch between Amar Armaan Genesis and Solitaire-9 Society to improve traffic flow and prevent obstructions.
Lashkar (Camp) Traffic Division
To ease congestion at Volga Chowk, the following changes have been introduced:
The road between Indira Gandhi Chowk and Khane Maruti Chowk will be closed at Volga Chowk with dividers, barricades, and ropes.
Vehicles traveling from Indira Gandhi Chowk or Preet Mandir Chowk toward Mohammad Rafi Chowk must move straight through Volga Chowk for 80 meters, take a U-turn near Axis Bank, and then continue to their destination.
Vehicles from Khane Maruti Chowk or Mohammad Rafi Chowk heading toward Preet Mandir Chowk must travel straight for 80 meters, take a U-turn near SBI Bank, and proceed further.
Deccan Traffic Division
A 100-meter stretch on Karve Road, from Sahyadri Hospital Out Gate to Vimalabai Garware School Gate, has been designated as a no-parking zone for all vehicles to ensure smoother traffic movement.
The Pune Traffic Police urge all commuters to follow these new traffic regulations to enhance road safety and ensure hassle-free travel across the city.
