Pune: A fire broke out in the early hours of the morning at around 4:30 AM in a residence located on the second floor of a two-storey building in Sai Colony, Wadkar Mala, Mohammadwadi. Responding swiftly to the alert, a fire engine from the Kale Borate Nagar Fire Station was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that a family comprising a man, a woman, and two children had sustained burn injuries due to the blaze. While working to control the fire, the fire personnel, with assistance from local residents, managed to rescue the injured and transport them to a hospital for immediate medical attention.
The fire caused significant damage to household belongings, although the exact reason for the outbreak remains unknown. Authorities from the fire department are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
