The Emergency Department of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has been upgraded with state-of-the-art systems to handle emergencies related to heavy rains and other disasters more efficiently. Residents are strongly advised to avoid stepping outside during such situations and stay clear of risky locations.

Deepak Singla, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of PMRDA, has emphasized the importance of meticulous planning across all departments to ensure swift assistance during emergency scenarios.

The Meteorological Department continues to issue regular updates on monsoon activity, including alerts for heavy rainfall in specific zones. In light of this, PMRDA remains vigilant and fully prepared with its enhanced emergency infrastructure.

Officials have been instructed to maintain seamless coordination with other agencies to guarantee that relief reaches those impacted without delay. Furthermore, the public is urged to refrain from unnecessary travel or tourism during severe weather and to adhere strictly to official safety guidelines.
