Pune: A youth preparing for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination was injured in a road accident near Bhave High School in Pune. The student was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Due to the severity of the incident, there is a strong possibility that he may be unable to appear for today’s crucial exam.
In light of this unfortunate situation, MP Supriya Sule has demanded to offer such students a second chance to appear for the exam under special consideration. Supporters argue that missing an exam due to unforeseen emergencies like accidents should not permanently impact a student’s future.
Furthermore, it has been urged that the state government take responsibility for the injured student’s medical expenses to prevent financial strain on the affected family. Citizens and activists have appealed to the authorities to treat the matter with urgency and ensure compassionate, student-friendly decisions are made.
