Pune: As the Muslim community prepares to observe Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) with deep faith and devotion on June 7, a large gathering is expected for the Eid prayers at the Eidgah Ground in Golibar Maidan, Pune. To facilitate the movement of devotees and maintain traffic order, the Pune City Police have announced temporary traffic diversions between 6:00 AM and 11:30 AM on the day.

Bhairobanala to Golibar Maidan Road
Closed: 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Alternate Routes:
For heavy vehicles heading to Swargate: Take Prince of Wales Road via Lullanagar Chowk
For light vehicles heading to Pune Station: Use Empress Garden Road
Mammadewi Chowk to Golibar Maidan
Diversion: Take Bishop School Road or Command Hospital Road → Napier Road → CDO Chowk
CDO Chowk to Golibar Chowk
Closed: 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Alternate Routes:
From Lullanagar: Turn left at CDO Chowk
From Khatav Bungalow Chowk: Take Napier Road by turning right
Seven Loves Chowk to Golibar Maidan
Alternate Route: Use Salisbury Park → CDO Chowk → Bhairobanala
Old Solapur Bazar Chowki to Golibar Chowk
Suggested Route: Via Khane Maruti Chowk → Pulgate Depot → Solapur Bazar Chowk → Napier Road → Khatav Bungalow Chowk or Mammadewi Chowk
Restricted Entry for Heavy Vehicles from Lullanagar Chowk to Golibar Maidan
This includes ST buses, PMPML buses, and goods transport vehicles
Diversion: Use Bhairobanala Chowk or Gangadham Chowk via Lullanagar
