Pune: A 16-year-old girl who had gone missing from Hingoli was found wandering suspiciously near Datta Mandir on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road in Budhwar Peth, Pune. The girl had reportedly left home after a dispute with her parents. Thanks to the alertness of a police mitra (civilian volunteer), the Faraskhana police were informed, who then took swift action and safely handed the girl over to her parents.
The incident took place on Tuesday, July 8. While patrolling the area near Datta Mandir in Budhwar Peth, a Faraskhana police team spotted the girl, who seemed anxious and out of place.
