New Delhi: The UPSC CSE Result 2025 has been officially announced by the Union Public Service Commission, with Anuj Agnihotri securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the prestigious Civil Services Examination. According to the commission, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various services of the Government of India. Meanwhile, Rajeshwari Suve M secured the second rank, while Akansh Dhull secured the third rank in the UPSC CSE Result 2025 merit list.
The written examination took place in August 2025. Later, the personality test or interview stage was conducted between December 2025 and February 2026. As a result, the final UPSC CSE Result 2025 was released in March 2026 after the completion of the evaluation process.
Successful candidates will join prestigious services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ services. Therefore, the result marks an important milestone for candidates aspiring to enter India’s administrative system.
Meanwhile, several candidates from Maharashtra have also secured positions in the UPSC CSE Result 2025 merit list. Notable names include Sayali Bhika Pagar (Rank 87), Rutuja Ashok Gaikwad (Rank 106), Kiran Kamate (Rank 53) and Sandip Badad (Rank 82). Additionally, Mohini Ashok Jagtap, Shruti Santosh Chavan, Rajashree Shantaram Deshmukh and Atul Anil Rajurkar also appeared in the final list.
Furthermore, the Government of India reported 1,087 vacancies for this examination cycle. These include 180 posts in IAS, 55 in IFS and 150 in IPS, along with 507 posts in Central Group ‘A’ services and 195 posts in Group ‘B’ services.

Finally, the commission has maintained a reserve list of 258 candidates. Candidates’ marks will be published on the official UPSC website within 15 days of the result declaration.
