Pimpri Chinchwad: A tragic accident occurred on Talwade-Mahalunge Road in Nighoje village when a dumper collided with a container from behind, resulting in the death of a young man sitting beside the cleaner. The incident took place around 11 pm on Tuesday, February 25. The deceased, identified as 24-year-old Sabir Hussain Muhammad Latif, was seated in the dumper when the crash occurred.
According to the complaint filed by Masoom Maqbool Shah, a 30-year-old resident of Pimpri, Sabir was a relative traveling with the dumper driver, Shailesh Suryakant Majkure. As the dumper was moving on the Talwade-Mahalunge Road, it crashed into a container parked in Nighoje. Sabir, who was sitting beside the cleaner, died instantly in the collision.
A case has been registered at the Mahalunge MIDC Police Station against the dumper driver, Shailesh Majkure, a 24-year-old resident of Chinchwad. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
