Mumbai: Karuna Sharma, the first wife of Minister Dhananjay Munde, has issued a strong warning, stating that she possesses significant evidence against Munde and will present it to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. She has also demanded Munde’s resignation, claiming she will reveal all her “Brahmastras” in the meeting.
Following a recent meeting between Dhananjay Munde and BJP MLA Suresh Dhas, political tensions have escalated. Commenting on the situation, Sharma said, “Politics has sunk to a new low. For the past three months, politicians have fought together without considering caste, community, or party affiliations. Suresh Dhas, Jitendra Awhad, Sandeep Kshirsagar, and Bajrang Sonawane have all been involved in this battle. Until now, the murders of Valmik Karad and Santosh Deshmukh were being used as political tools, and someone has deliberately fueled the conflict between Jitendra Awhad and Suresh Dhas.”
Accusing Munde of manipulating the situation, Sharma claimed, “I believe Dhananjay Munde called Suresh Dhas and then spread false narratives. Meanwhile, the murder of Santosh Deshmukh is being ignored, and lawlessness prevails in Beed. Today, Valmik Karad is more infamous for hooliganism than even Munde himself, and it is Munde who is backing him. Cases like the Bhagirath Biyani murder will also come to light soon.”
Sharma also alleged that Munde wields total control over the Ajit Pawar faction of NCP, stating, “Whatever Munde says is what happens in NCP. This isn’t Ajit Pawar’s group—it’s Munde’s. Sometimes, even Ajit Pawar is forced to retreat to his farmhouse in silence, only for Munde to bring him back into the picture.”
She further accused Munde’s supporters of extreme cruelty, referring to the Santosh Deshmukh murder, saying, “When Santosh Deshmukh begged for water before dying, they urinated on his face instead. These people believe power is above everything. But I say—politics cannot override the will of the people.”
