Pune: At around 7:34 PM, the Raman Main Fire Brigade Control Room in Pune received an emergency call reporting a kitten stranded on a tree near the Croma showroom close to Bavdhan Police Chowki. Responding promptly, the fire brigade team arrived at the scene and discovered the kitten perched on a branch approximately 20 feet above the ground.
Rescue personnel used a ladder to approach the frightened animal but, recognizing the risk, they deployed a safety net beneath the tree to ensure a safe rescue. The kitten was eventually coaxed down and landed unharmed in the net. After a quick check confirmed it had no injuries, it was safely reunited with its owner.
The successful operation was carried out by firefighters Kadam, Driver Pawar, Yadav, Nevse, Lohokare, Prathamesh Sagvekar, and Bamgude.
