Pune, May 4: A cylinder blast occurred on the sixth floor of a residential building in Mohammadwadi, causing substantial damage to the affected flat. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
The explosion triggered a fire, which was swiftly brought under control by the Pune Fire Brigade, preventing the blaze from spreading to neighboring flats.
Residents of the building were briefly evacuated as a precautionary measure. Officials confirmed that the situation is now under control and the building is safe for re-entry.
Further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion and assess the extent of the damage.
