Pune: Pune Airport has released an official advisory to passengers and airline partners following a series of flight cancellations on May 8, 2025, as a result of operational challenges stemming from the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. The cancellations, which occurred between midnight and 8:00 PM, were primarily due to temporary suspensions at certain destination airports.
A total of 13 domestic flights operated by IndiGo and SpiceJet were cancelled, impacting connectivity on several key routes. Below are the details of the affected flights:

Passengers were notified of these cancellations through airline communications, airport announcements, and digital notifications. Pune Airport, in collaboration with the airlines, provided necessary support in accordance with DGCA regulations. This included offering full refunds, alternative travel options, and assistance from on-ground staff.
